A NACVOTY Student Concept Car Design Scholarship Competition
Since 2002, the North American Concept Vehicle of the Year (NACVOTY) Awards have recognized the concept vehicles that have made the strongest impact in terms of automotive design, engineering and market responsiveness. These awards are unique in that they are judged by a diverse panel of automotive journalists from throughout Canada and the US, and considered in the specific context of the North American market.
For the NACVOTY program, it is not enough to celebrate today’s automotive designs and engineering feats, we also want to encourage the designers and engineers of the future. To do so we have launched a student concept car scholarship competition – CANADA DREAM CARS.
All 11th and 12th grade public and private school students of Toronto are being invited to participate in CANADA DREAM CARS. Scholarship awards will range from $500 to $3,000. The program has already been accepted by the Toronto District School Board. Pending approval, the entries will be displayed and winners publicly announced at the 2018 Canadian International Auto Show.
All entries must be received no later than December 1, 2017. Entries will be judged by a panel of automotive industry experts. Winners will be notified February 1, 2018.
